the mitchell report, countdown t-minus 13 @ 1pm central. supposedly 60 to 80 names with some being all-stars and mvps. How many can we name? sosa, big mc and bonds are the obvious. jay gibbons and jose guillen were already named with about 9 other free agents not worthy of note last week. possibilities: nomar marcus and brian giles eric gagne albert belle miguel tejada brett boone pudge juan gonzalez mike cameron mo vaughn ken caminiti jeff bagwell moises alou ruben sierra mike hampton bobby abreu johnny damon mike piazza roger clemens cal ripken? javy lopez guys I dont think did roids but snort HGH: david ortiz albert pujols manny ramirez adam dunn arod todd helton
Morgan Ensberg is a name that comes to mind. Julio Franco (it's impossible to look that good and be 100) Luis Gonzales Carlos Delgado.
I'll go out on a limb: Brad Ausmus (career high 4 homers in the 02 season)....mysteriously started calling better games
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was an investigation asked for by the MLB, right? If so, I have to think that any "face of the game" that would have been found would be spared. There is a reason MLB got to read the rough-draft before the real puppy hit the streets tomm.
  let's not forget andy, Im not from LA even though I was born in baton rouge, pettitte. oh and LSU's own hero Armando Rios. definitely roid head. went from 165 soaking wet to 220 overnight with the giants. another tiger in paul byrd but that was hgh. lets not forget, sheffield, giambi, john rocker, lenny nails dykstra, and raffy. correct. all will be out of baseball or nobody currently relevant. like john kruk, matt stairs and miguel tejada.
this story says 11 free agents are on the list. anyone out there that should have been signed by now that isn't signed? http://www.theoaklandpress.com/stories/121207/spo_20071212173.shtml
ESPN (Mike and Mike show) is reporting that Roger Clemens recieved 'roids from a Yankee trainer. This doesn't surprise me...in fact, nothing in this report will surprise me. What it does is disappoint me...deeply. I have been a baseball fan all of my life...and lately...I have a hard time cheering for the sport. But every now and then, a story comes along that piques my interest in baseball again...such as Rick Ankiel last year...only to have my interest crushed again and again...such as with Rick Ankiel last year!!:cuss:
lots of deals got done the day or 2 before this report was to come out (trades, free agent signings). interesting timing.
ROIDS! Good God makes you just wanna give Nolan Ryan a big extra thanks when you see him. How bout a league for roids and a league roids free? :dis:
