I know, Lees avg. less than 12 completions per game. I know in the Fla. game only 10 pases were attempted, same with the NWLa game. In the first 6 games: 10-9-21-16-8-7 passes completed.
The Co-D didn't work, but you can look around and many teams in college have Co's on both sides of the ball. LSU is blessed, remember on the staff you have 4 former OC's and 3 former DC's. Not many schools can say this. Studs calls down the plays, Krags sees things on the field, remember how fast you have to get plays in. Lee talked about one time Krags telling him what the defense was giving, then it was ours for the taking.....:thumb:
One only can only imagine what would have been accomplished last year or even the year before with this Krags instead of Crowton. It's actually fun to watch LSU Football again!
And I'm glad he is, I wish them both well. That still doesn't change the fact that neither was even semi capable of coaching an SEC defense. In the case of the offense you may have two that are both capable, or maybe it's just one of them. Either way it's at least one more than we had on the D side of the co thing.
I'd like to keep this staff together as long as we can. This is really a great staff Les has assembled.
