Fixed it for ya. Regarding Lee, the guy threw 89 passes last year with one INT. I TOTALLY understand the fact that he's still remembered for '08 and the ridiculous INT numbers, but I don't understand LSU fans that pay attention to the program being surprised by Lee's lack of INTs this season. He's just continuing what he did last season, except it's his show now.
This next game Lee will break 1,000 yds. passing for the year. Last year he had 573 yds. Last year he had 2 Passing TD's and this year he has 8 TD's. I like what they are doing with Lee, it keeps getting better. :tigereye:
You know there have been a lot of coaches that have taken the 2 QB system and made it work, but of course Miles has to one up the unusual. How about a successful 2QB/2OC system; anybody else do that and get to number one? Anyone else got the stones to try? The most impressive part - it's a non issue on the team. The web and media are going nuts and scratching their head; but the team takes it in stride. You know the saying that a team takes on the personality of the head coach. Well this team is unique, like the HC. Oh, and Krags - great job. The confidence level of the QBs is night and day. Maybe it’s because they actually know what they are expected to do before and during the play. What a concept.
I agree, he does look much improved. The only thing I'd like to see is them let him throw it a little more to get more experience reading the defenses and hitting his target. I'd hate to see us get to a game where we have to throw the ball and see him forced to throw once an opposing D shuts down the run. I understand playing it close to the vest when you are blowing ranked teams out, I just think in the long run it would be more beneficial to see him throw 20 times a game instead of 10. It would also benefit the herd of young WR's we have. Can't argue with the results though, that's for sure.
We are killing everyone with only having to throw 10 passes. We will continue until we have to throw. With only 3 turnovers for the year, let them play. They are taking this as it comes, they take with the defense gives them. Remember Krags offense went up against a Gregg Williams (Saints DC) defense every day in practice(While with the Bills). Be assured, they are passing in practice. Lee is doing just what KragStuds wants and winning along the way.
Do you think krag stays next year with his medical condition and will stud remain oc? I think stud is calling the game just like clm wants the team to play. Krag will make mett a star here at lsu if he stays. This offense seems to have found an identity. Stud has installed the identity that clm wanted. Because this has been clm's team for so long now, it is truly his complete creation. It's exactly what he wants with his players and with the type of play he perfers. You can't argue with success. Clm knows what wins sec football games. Stud seems to know what clm wants. Krag knows how to teach a qb to run it. Our offense looks much like an NFL offense with a passing qb.
I don't think Krags is going anywhere. Being on staff takes some of the burden off of his shoulders and allows him enough time to spend with his family and still do what he does best, coach QBs. He's making good money; he's got good work/life balance and he's happy. Look for Krags to be on this staff as long as they'll have him...
He will be here as long as he wants, that one you can bet on. Krags is something that has been needed on this team. I like this staff just the way it is. A good friend of Krags, I post this write-up every now and then.......... New Esks coach expert at keeping things together Enjoy the read.:tigereye:
