Someone last night at the Tiger Tour dinner yelled , "Don't quit your day job." Mainieri's response was, "You wouldn't believe how many texts I got today that said the same thing." Poor guy. Then Miles ripped on him for making Chad Jones fat.

Atleast he was better than Ozzy.

He sounds like Mariah Carey compared to Mike Ditka and Mr. T.

Ozzy was absolutely hilarious too. But he knew like three words (just like when he's talking), so I couldn't really call it singing.

I think Ditka might have the funniest one of all time though. He sounds like he just did a speedball and swallowed a bottle of Adderall before singing.

YouTube - Mike Ditka sings 7th inn. stretch at Wrigley (full version)

Oh, and here is T. too:
YouTube - Mr.T sings take me out to the ballgame

Mainieri gets an A+ for effort. He doesn't look like he could have enjoyed it more.

I liked how at the end of the song he yells, "Let's go Cubs....and Tigers!"

Anyone know why he was invited? Not everyday that you see a college baseball coach singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at Wrigley Field.

If im not mistaken Jim Hendry the gm for the cubs is a friend of CPM. He was the coach at Creighton when CPM was headed to Air Force and stopped and visited in Omaha with Mr. Hendry in 1991 ( I think) thats when he said he wasnt coming back to Omaha till he had a team of his own..... PPL please correct my story only not my writing style and grammar.

EDIT: Doing a little research CPM didn't go to AFA till 1989, But I think the rest of the story bout them being friends and he went to visit is still true
