I agree. The school can turn around and keep the coach for another three to five years, and the "promise" they made to the other guy gets broken. It's setting yourself up for disappointment. And if they DO fulfill that promise, what kind of shape is the program when the previous coach retired/resigned? (Good luck, Jimbo)
