Ohhhh.. I'm shaking in my boots. I didn't flame your coach. You guys can dish it out, but you sure can't take it. I've been nothing but cordial until this post. I challenge you to point out where I "flamed" anybody or anything.

I'd imagine this is what Red was talking about. Dis-ing our coach. satan has 2 great years, both at LSU. He was not so hot at Mich. St., and he failed at Miami. After he had a great season at LSU, he had a down year. Miles has finished #6 and #3 and he is an excellent recruiter also. Miles has shown more consistency than satan. To win a nat. champ. you need some luck, and satan got it in 2003. Just to get into the game requires some luck, ask Auburn about 2004.

satan never showed LSU any loyalty, he talked to the pros every year. You guys should not have that problem, since he has failed miserably and the pros won't come calling again. Loyalty won't be the reason he's staying, but I think he'll stay at Bama because he will no longer rate a better job in the pros, and yes, the Dolphins is a better job than LSU, if you want that lifestyle and you can hack it. But "a man has to know his limits". satan didn't.

Did we enjoy satan's years in BR? Yep. Did we enjoy his annual shopping with the pros? No. Did he show any loyalty to LSU going to Miami and coming back to the SEC west at Bama? No. Do we owe him any loyalty at this time? No.

But I agree with Red, your post as a visitor is antagonistic by trying to put Miles down.

d00d. Don't you know what the word cordial means? :nope: Most of us don't mind thoughtful posts from visitors, but flamers are just a boil on the patooty.

Whoever said that Davis is just immature has pretty much said it best IMHO. After reading further quotations from him I can honestly say that he seems like a whiney little pain in the backside. Especially with the "Im going to start recruiting" comment and the way he says it was entirely him changing his mind on which school to go to, not us withdrawing the scholarship offer, something that shouldnt be taken lightly.

Your posts are inflamatory cause they're not based on facts. In the post you made under this:

The fact is: The average *'s in Miles's recruiting classes are right up with Saban's and, this year's class has the potential to be off the charts and show Miles to be a better recruiter.

The "Best school in the SEC"?? Talk about subjective at minimal but I'd love to hear what you base that on, and it's not his accomplishments we "Knock" it's his character. The questions on character is not exclusive to LSU fans, but also other fan bases and a lot of media personnel.

Thankfully so too. 2/ Miles' recruits (Along with the ones that were already here) have been big contributors to wins- Holiday turned the Ark. game back around, Williams and Scott have contributed, just to name a couple off the top of my head. Even still, if what you're saying was true, why is Miles having more success than Saban did with his own recruits??

Well, I know Luther had some problems early on at 'Bama, but I never followed his situation closely so have no idea whatever happened to him..

So anyone know? Whatever happened to Luther Davis?
