Good riddance. We freed up another scholly for talent that wont be overshadowed by what we already have.I wish you well Mr. Davis. But I pity you when your staring down the barrel of KW and JM.:geauxtige
Yeah, he coached Saban's kids to dual 11's. Les Miles isn't half the recruiter or coach that Saban is. I understand many of you are upset about Saban coming to the best school in the SEC, but don't knock the man who brought you your first MNC in, what was it, fifty years or so?
Which is something Satan couldn't do. Says who??? Saban wasn't spit for a recruiter until he came to LSU and Miles seems to be doing every bit as good as Satan did recruiting. Still living in the past, Bama better know as Auburns bitch, isn't even the best SEC team in their state much less the conference. Saban did great things at LSU but a snake is still a snake.
Saban didn't have b2b 11's with his recruits. And you might be well-served to read some of the more recent recruiting threads in this forum. Les is about to bring in a class as good as, or better than, Saban's best class in 2001. Do a little research before making such comically inaccurate statements. And enjoy the ass-thrashings that Les will visit upon your supposedly superiour coach for the next few years (until Saban bolts).
First of all, CLM is proven to be a better recruiter than CNS. Know before you post. And it's interesting that Saban NEVER coached HIS recruits to dual 11's.
How many MNC has the great Les Miles won? How much talent has he had to work with? LSU has almost always had great talent in my lifetime. The difference has been coaching. Les Miles is not a bad coach by any means, but he is no Nick Saban. Saban is a great coach and will do great things at Alabama. You all know it and that's why you're scared and upset. How many of you would trade Les Miles for Saban? If you're an honest bunch, you'd have to say Saban. Take Care
Miles is only in his second year, Satan followed his MNC with an 8-4 season and a bag packing ceremony on christmas eve. Back to back top 5 finishes and 11 win seasons in his first 2 years in the SEC is pretty damn good. If I were betting the house I'd bet Miles gets a MNC before Satan gets another.
I will not be the first say that Saban was an oustanding coach and he has certainly benefited from his tenure at LSU, but he will not have the joy ride type success at bama as he had here especially with his creditablity being challenged by virtually everybody in the conference. Would I trade Les Miles for Nick Saban probably before he hightailed it out of Miami, but now his intergrity and reputation has taken a big hit and no I will not trade for him today. Not saying he is a bad coach, but I think he is a money grubbing whore that has been proven to be a total hypocrite. He will f*** you guys in the long run. You can book that, Dano!
