The fact is these kids milk this process for all it's worth. They love the cameras, coach attention, and fan base attention. They love going on visits and, hanging out, partying, and getting laid. It's a pretty sweet deal. Having said that, LD is learning the hard way that it is a double edged sword. He now knows that he has to take the good with the bad. If you're gonna get all the good attention, media, coaches and coeds, then you have to deal with the negative attention. My advice to LD......Quit being a P***Y and lie in the bed you made for yourself by your actions. You have to take the bad with the good.
Well, not much I can add here that has not already been said, considering that the vast majority of the posters disagree with the spirit of this thread, (and are correct to do so). Perhaps we should change the title to: Luther Davis - You really need to Apologize... But considering what a close relationship he has with God, I am sure that has all been worked out.
For what it's worth, looks like Rolando Melancon is indeed going to Bama. That's who the Bama plane was visiting this morning, and he'll be visiting Bama this weekend. I hear he may commit even before the weekend visit.
The rumor in Memphis is that UT is cool on him at this point because of grades. Maybe that is part of the deal.
So at 18 you can be trusted to carry a gun and fight overseas in a war, but making a choice of what university you will attend is somehow too much reponsibility?
Maybe Bama is using him like Ole Piss uses Jerrell Powe and inflates their recruiting rankings for 19 strait years. :grin:
