Luther Davis out for Bama Spring Ball

Saban said in his PC today that Luther Davis has not been participating in the S&C lately and will not participate in Spring Practice.

I remember how proud some of the Bama folks were of Saban "stealing" one away from LSU.

While missing S&C and spring practice could just be a bump in the road, something must be up.

He said he is out for personal reasons not for missing S&C to clarify. IIRC.

So many have a propensity to demonize players despite having dealt with the same problems themselves and a lot with their own children. Sad state of affairs, IMO.

LD is dealing with some issues, and right now I see no benefit of them being voiced in public forums. I wouldn't be surprised to see him transfer to a school like La. Tech. I feel for him, as I would any kid, dealing with what he is going through.

Life superceeds football and rivalries. Unfortunately, that's a concept some seem to forget, willingly or unconsciously I couldn't answer.

 

You've been on this forum long enough to be aware of the quality of many of the regular posters here. If this kid is facing a difficult personal situation not of his own doing, not a single person here finds any joy over that and you know that.
