With the news on Luthers visit to alabama does anyone have any info on Jason Peters will his stock go up a bit since he is a hometown product and also has a 22 on the ACT, and also rates a 4 star recruit. Is faster than Davis and is the same size 250-260 ish.

What do you guys think? Does he get a better offer than a grey shirt from CLM

    Okay sorry for the caps

I think if Davis does not re-commit fully to LSU and convince Miles that he made a mistake in going to Bama, then Miles is going after Peters hot and heavy and will yank Davis' scholly after we get Peters.

I believe he is now listed as a "soft verbal". (whatever that is) These terms are useless anyway. "Commit" is a joke, as obviously, they DON'T.

I thought Peters was deciding between Notre Dame and Nebraska.
Has LSU been talking to him?

I disagree that "commit" is a joke. Most athletes stick to their commitments.

But the fact that they can "de-commit" makes it a joke. Just don't commit until you're sure. What kind of committment is it if you can just walk away with no penalty?

LD talked to a friend of mine yesterday. He said he's still an LSU commit, but, it's between Bama and LSU and he'll decide signing day.

I could go into detail about his visit and thoughts...but, I'll spare you. :yelwink2:
