Well of course not. Add to that there is about a 45% chance it works this weekend and he is back to thinking his way is best
I know absolutely nothing about JSU football, but Wisconsin just showed the entire country the formula for beating LSU. Wonder if they have the horses in the barn to get it done?
While the Lambeau angle was played up by the local media I don't think the players were so caught up in it that it affected their game. They didn't overlook Wisconsin or fail to take them seriously. They weren't overconfident. They were just the victims of a woefully inadequate and archaic game plan and sloppy preparation by the man at the top. When even Hanigriff, who has never been in favor of mid season firings called for a change sooner rather than later after watching Les's presser it's just one more sure sign that the wheels have come completely off. The thing is, Who is going to be the person who makes the next hire? I have no confidence whatsoever that anybody in a present position to do so won't fuck it up. As much as myself and lots of others have a man crush on Tom Herman I am confident that it will never happen. If the Jimbo hire had come off last year it would have been a home run. I can't fault Joe Alleva for making a bad choice in that case . But too much politics by too many buffoons will assure that whoever is hired will not be the first choice but the 4th, 5th or 6th. F(ucking) Alexander is not going to open up the Tiger checkbook for anybody, not even if Vince Lombardi were to come back to life and want the job. Face it. The most likely head coach in 2017 will be Ed O. After he was screwed by USC I don't think he would agree to become interim coach without the assurance that the head job was his if he turned the program around during his interim tenure. Cam as interim? The fans just might burn their tickets in protest. Aranda may or may not be qualified but after 1 game as DC he wouldn't be the choice. I know! Let's bring back the only undefeated head coach in LSU history - Hal Hunter.
Miles again has used the "preparation" excuse in regards to the Wisconsin loss. And he has used this excuse too many times to count over his 12 seasons at LSU. My question is, if LSU is always "unprepared" for games, wtf is he doing during these practices, and why is he paid $4+M a year to continually keep LSU unprepared?
I don't know man I think it was a combination of what you said and not being prepared for a team that treated this game like their super bowl in Lambeau.
