Damn...I guess I struck a nerve. Didn't mean to talk down on YOUR patriots. I don't give two chits about the Pats.......I like Belichick, he's a great coach. But you don't disrespect a team like that after you beat them....IF that's what happened. I was just posting what LT said cause it was shocking to see him do that. If he was just crying, then he is a pansie. But I agree with him if they did do Merriman's dance to show the chargers up. A la T.O. when he did Ray Lewis' dance. Celebrate, hell yeah, but don't show another team up cause it might come back and bite you in the A$$. Well it won't on this occasion as long as the Chargers keep Chittenheimerdink as their coach! :thumb:

    Translation:

My teammate is the only one allowed to show up the opponent and act classless.

It's nice to know i'm the only one who thinks that.

To get back on topic, LDT needs to get off his man rag. There is nothing classless about mocking the hometown "hero" by doing his dance after an underdog beat the team most favored to make it to the superbowl. In fact, I thought it was rather funny and wish more teams did it.

Not real nerve damage done. ;) There are two sides to every story.

In the San Diego Union-Tribune, Patriot LB Rosevelt Colvin stated:

    (when asked of taunting, etc.)

"They talked trash the whole game, from beginning to end. We'll take the win."

As for showing up Merriman... Well, if you're cocky enough to come up with your own stupid little dance (which can be defined as "showing up your opponent"--after all, he does it when he makes a big play as if to say, "yeah! I got you! Look at me!"), then you should be man enough to take it when your opponent gets the best of you.

So it's ok for Merriman and his steroid-pumping self to mock other teams and players, but they can't have it done to him??? And since when is a celebration dance a copywrite????
