Wow. Didn't want to shake hands with the Pats after the game cause they were doing Merriman's dance on the 50 yd line. In his PC after the game LT said that showed no class and I guess they get that from their coach. That is awesome and I don't blame LT at all. Because of that I hope the Saints play the Pats in the SB and beat the livin crap out of them. Maybe T.O. was on the sidelines and coached the Pats on that one. UNBELIEVABLE!

show emotion yes, but show up the competition and then expect their best player to shake your hand no.

Merriman won't forget that... 3-1 odds that roid boy suplexes Brady late next time they play.

What it low class?...yes. About as low class as Merriman on almost every play and as low class as LT taking his time crossing the goal line earlier in the game.

I don't like when players act like jerks..Deion Sanders, Terrell Owens, etc. I hate it even more when they can dish it out but can't take it when the other team does it.

The fact of the matter is that the worst sports city in the United States had already crowned their "Super" Chargers as the Champs before they even took the field. For a town that loves to refer to itself as "America's Finest City", they surely didn't play or act like the finest.

I'm sorry LT is such a pansie....In a game that is all about emotion, I'm sorry if he gets all crybaby on us because NE did the same dance that Merriman gives to every other team he makes a play on???

C'mon! DownOnTheBayou, if you don't like the Pats because they win, that's fine, but if you're gonna defend LT and his "awe! They teased us." B.S., then that's sad.

You don't know that the Pats players were any less or more classy with their celebration than Merriman is with his when he does it. You just don't know what's said on the field throughout the whole game.

And having lived in Boston and following the Patriots so closely, I can tell you that Belichick is NOT classless. The running joke in the Boston Herald and Boston Globe were always mocking Belichick for jumping all over the media when they would write articles about how the Patriots would soundly beat their next opponent, etc. Belichick is ALWAYS giving opponents their due respect.

For what it's worth, SD had the better team. I was so dejected through 3.5 quarters of that game having watched a SD defense relentlessly put pressure on Brady, shut down the Pats running game and watch LT make every New England defender look like he had lead in his shoes....So with all that, and the Patriots SOMEHOW winning, when Kaeding missed that kick, I jumped out of my chair!!! Make no mistake, the Patriots players were dejected for almost that whole game and when they were able to celebrate something, it was at the end.

    That's it. You nailed it!

and did you see LT's reaction...he was all upset just after Kaeding missed the FG.

    And a few more things:

1.) Kaeding kicked the ball from the 40-something yardline--almost at midfield.
2.) When going to block a kick, the outside rush usually ends up around the same spot as where the kicker is--which in this case, was almost at midfield.
3.) When players off the bench rushed the field to celebrate with their teammates, their teammates were already at midfield.
4.) They mocked a dance of a player who made popular that celebrate by sacking QB's and making big plays--but is also a player that tested positive for steroids--which directly enables him to get a boost in physical ability making him more capable of making those big plays.
5.) Anyone having a problem with another player from another team mocking the dance of an opponent must have never smirked when an opponent of Florida gives a mock gator chomp.

So...ugh, am I missing where this whole issue is as severe as some are making it out to be???

I couldn't care less. If that gets them off, great...We beat the **** out of them which is what counts.

Now, if they go and moon Mrs. Miles, that's disrespectful. But we're talking about guys getting hyped and jumping on our logo...Okay...Whooptee ****in do...

I think there was more to that than we will ever know. LT is pretty classy guy. For him to be that upset, something must've happened on the field during the game.

Can we please call him LDT? LT is already taken.

As for the post-game stuff, I just don't find it interesting either way. We never know exactly what has gone on that leads to reactions anyway.
