Taking the Oregon game was risky, but genius at the same time. - It made Moffit work these guys different and harder than in previous seasons. This team never gets tired. In fact, they appear to get stronger as the game goes. - Oregon's tempo meant we had to have 8-10 D linemen, 6 LBs and 8-10 DB's ready on Day 1. We've been playing that many guys all year and our depth is a HUGE advantage for us. - Having such a huge game to start the season magnified everything our guys did starting back in the Spring. This team has shown they can focus no matter how big the game is, or what the outside distractions are. - We played great against Oregon which gave us momentum, confidence, swagger and put us in the national spot light.
Myself I would have preferred Oregon-LSU mid season with both teams in stride. A big game like that is risky for both clubs, especially for LSU given the whole nightclub fight/suspensions that took place the week or two before the game.
I'm more interested in where our schedule ends up at the end of the season. Interested to see where our opponents are ranked then. And if we can get the win against Bama.
Plyometrics at LSU is the secret that we're beating everyone with ... They'll all be doing it like we do in 10 years ... Stronger and faster and more athletic and better then a man 20 lbs heavier than you ... and you can bust him in his PRESEASON SELECTION ALL-AMERICAN MOUTH FOR 60 MINUTES AND PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG AFTERWARDS:hihi: There isn't a better DT in this country than Brockers ... and he won't get any credit this year cuz its all politics and he's only a f-ing SOPH and those mutts in the Not For Long can't get their filthy paws on him till 2013 ...
