    For those concerned with SOS, here is some pertinent info to help put things in perspective.

    2007 SOS = .5430 (as per Anderson & Hester computer poll) = 40th ranked (simply used to compare 2007 to 2008)

    2008 LSU's SOS

    Current........= .4643 (13-15)
    With Georgia = .5294 (18-16)
    Full Schedule = .5397 (34-29)

    Projected = .5670 (72-55) (Includes 11-1 SEC CG opponent) = Top 20 ranking in A&H computer poll

    Auburn = 4-4 (3 common opponents)
    MSU = 2-5 (3 common opponents)
    Florida = 7-1 (2 common opponents)
    Georgia = 7-1 (2 common opponents)
    SCarolina = 6-2 (2 common opponents)
    Alabama = 9-0 (2 common opponents)
    Ole Miss = 3-4 (3 common opponents)
    Arkansas = 2-5 (3 common opponents)
    Tulane = 4-7 (0 common opponents)
    Troy = 7-2 (1 common opponent)
    NTexas = 0-11 (1 common opponent)

    12 common opponent games (12-12 record)

    Florida = 9-1 (SEC CG opponent)

    Replace North Texas with a team who is 4-8 record and LSU projected as top 3 SOS (76-51 = .5985).

    Notes: I did not count the W-L record of Appalachian State, a non-FBS school. In addition, I do count wins or losses for our opponents who play non FBS teams.
