It's really nice to see that Lee is looking good so far, too.

Excellent. Great competition with the defensive backs, quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers..

That can only make us better. I would love nothing more than to see Scott and Keiland be a legitimate 1a and 1b. Fresh and talented legs every game.

Savor the last sniffs of football, after this its a long drought till August... :nope:

But I'm glad to hear the offense looked better in the second scrimmage.

I am glad to hear that the offense is more settled, and producing with better playing conditions. That being said, is the offense now a better test for the defense? And if so, how good is the present defense?

When this offense is clicking, it's a test for ANY defense. And it's only going to get better this year.

Jefferson still hasn't progressed as much as I had hoped.

I am OK if he needs a bit more time; he really hasn't played that much yet. I remember JR took a while too. I think he will be a great one.

On the other hand, I think Lee would be great if he can finally correct his flaws with a bit more maturation. I feel for him having to face the severe criticism and pressure for his "consistent" pic sixes, and still having to fight on with no back up last season. His decision to stay on is, to me, a real test of his courage and determination. Would be interesting to see how he bounces back this season, being the underdog.

I think this coming season, both QB's would benefit from each other by being on the field in the same game, though not necessarily with equal playing times. The change of pace with the Flynn and RP rotations seemed to have work quite well.
