I think we finish off with:

    Randle
    Mingo
    Tahj Jones
    Logan
    Kelly

Kelly would be the one I am the least sure about.

Not ready to make predictions on Lacy but I think he is interested regardless of what he is saying.

Waiting to see what happens with Moore next weekend.

    93% Randle (8 percent increase)

    20% Richardson

    50% Kelly

    90% Benton

35% Montgomery (this kid is flaky)

    95% Logan

95% Jackson (goes to 100% if he declines Bama visit)

    55% Moore

    Class ends up being:

    Randle
    Mingo
    Moore
    Benton
    Logan
    TJones (greyshirt)
    Johns (greyshirt)

I got Kendall still going to Alabama. This may change depending on if he drops his other visits, which I don't think he does. If he does, then I think LSU has wrapped him up. A lot of talk now, let's see if the emotion turns into reality.

I agree with this list with 1 exception: I still think we need/land a 2nd RB in this class, because of what our team should look like in 2010 @ RB - Murphy, Ridley, Ford and Allen. There are other guys on the roster, especially those ATH types that could get a few carries, but these guys should be the ones in the mix with things the way they are now.

If we don't get a 2nd RB in this class, I bet our staff will go all-in on a Lache Seastrunk/ big-time back for the '10 class.

Schools may not have more than 85 football players on scholarship at any time. The number of incoming freshmen who report in August must not push the scholarship roster above this number. In other words, if 25 incoming freshmen report on scholarship, there must be no more than 60 returning players on scholarship.

I presume that scholarships are awarded for full academic years starting with the fall semester. I have always assumed that early enrollees are on TOPS or paying their own way for the spring and summer semesters. Perhaps they can assume vacated scholarships, but I don't know.

I am just curious about the confidence in landing Randle?

It's like a spiritual feeling or what?

The kid hasn't said anything..one way or the other..

Can someone share how we went from really nervous 50/50 to 95% or 90% sure on Randle?

Good question, I thought the same until the Pratt stuff started. LSU could not provide him with room and board until he was cleared. So they must be on scholarship.

    Just an update.. Xavier..

Of the three.. I've only heard Crowtons name being mentioned as the only mormon. I think the distance factor will be the only reason he doesn't come to LSU.

islstl/bhelm/cparso -- do you feel we'll land either Myles or Moore? With both guys looking like a coin-toss right now.. 75% chance we land one of the two? ;)

If we get one of them it will be Moore IMO but I really can't put a percent chance on it with him just coming into the picture and having not visited LSU yet.

Personally, I do not feel we need another safety because we have 2 really good ones in state next year who are strong leans to LSU already. But we obviously take Moore or Myles if they want to commit.

    Myles to Bama IMO.
