Either way, they all count towards the 85 limit, correct? Unless they "walk-on". :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Well if they greyshirt, they count towards the 85 in 2010 I believe. Maybe someone can come up with a definitive answer on this. It's such a grey area. I don't believe I just said that.
85 is the number to hit each year. The 25 number is handled by early enrollment. As long as we are under 85, and the coaches will know if they are before this June/August, then we are okay. All indications are it will be a full class.
Somehow the 25 number gets split up because of the Spring semester enrollees. I don't know the exception that allows this, but they get away with it all the time. However, I don't think the 85 number can be circumvented.
I had never heard that Spring semester enrollees could be counted differently. It seems like after all of these years it would have been brought up before.
What I have heard is a recruit can be counted backwards if the previous class had less than 25 scholarships handed out. That would be for recruits coming in the Spring, I think. I think that is what Dude is alluding to. I guess it's kind of like fuzzy math.
Waiting on Izzy to update us on our chances at RR, TR and KK..... :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Mine %'s for each would be: 95% Randle (5% increase special) 40% Richardson 75% Kelly 45% Montgomery 95% Logan 95% Jackson
