Yeah, right? Izzy's normally all "glass half empty" when it comes to recruiting.

Islstl is so optimistic and positive I think he must have a day job as a motivational speaker. I hope he doesn't live "in a van down by the river" and I am certain he doesn't spit all over people as much as Lou Holtz does.

DD outlined his wish list today:

WR -- Miles would like to finish this recruiting class with two more wide receivers and has a great chance of signing Andre DeBose. Miles also has a slight lead for Rueben Randle. I have been told that in case LSU loses out on Randle, they will have a great chance at signing Kendall Kelly (6'4", 200) out of Alabama.

RB -- Miles would like to add one more running back to this year's signing class and would like to steal Trent Richardson away from Alabama.

OL -- Miles would also like to sign one more offensive linemen and has a slim shot at signing D. J. Fluker from Foley, Alabama who is committed to Alabama, Xavier Nixon from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a slim shot at signing Su'a Filo from Provo Utah.

DL -- Miles would like to sign one or two more defensive linemen and has a very good chance at signing Sam Montgomery from Greenwood, South Carolina and Joseph Campbell from Detroit, Michigan who continues to tell an LSU commitment that he is going to sign with LSU. When it is all said and done, I expect LSU to offer Benny Logan from Red River high school in Coushatta.

LB -- Miles is also hoping to sign one more linebacker with Barkevious Mingo at the top of the list.

S -- [In addition to Craig Loston] Miles would also like to sign one more safety and I believe Josh Johns from Central in Baton Rouge will be offered.

    Agree with all of that.

    I think we'd like 2 more LBs.

I wonder if he meant 1 linebacker "along with" Mingo.

I just saw on Tiger Rag's website that Willie Ferrell de committed politely from LSU. There was always doubt about his commitment and he had re affirmed it a month ago. The article said he had nothing but good to say about LSU and it's fans, etc. so it seems that LSU and he came to an agreement to free up a scholarship. Maybe this signals that LSU may be confident of signing someone else.
