izzy, are these guys commitments dependent on one another? i.e. if one commits to us first, is it likely the other goes to UF? or is it possible that we or UF could get both? and then, what scenario are we likely to get Mingo?

Mingo is at the top of our list and is still considered a lock IMO. Jarvis Jones would be a nice surprise in this class but I need to see some more consistent attention to LSU to feel confident about landing him. Other than that I do not really have a favorite between Bostic and Williams. I think Williams is the most likely out of the 2 to commit to LSU but feel Bostic would fit our defense a little better.

Great list, nice work islstl! I really hope they end up offering Christine Michael.

I think Randle will be ours in the end. I don't think Miles will let him get away.

Can you guys imagine our offense next year? We'll have LaFell leading the way at WR with Toliver and Randle, #2 and #1 WR prospects in the country while in high school, and maybe Benton finally qualifies. Those 4 mixed with the ton of other WR's we have (Both Mitchells, Dixon, Peterson, Taylor, Toliver) and we'll be insanely stacked at WR.

Then Lee with a year of experience and Shepard coming in, and hopefully Scott stays so we have a legit Heisman candidate at running back. Sorry I'm getting a little carried away but getting Randle and Benton finally qualifying makes me extremely happy about our offense for at least the next 3-4 years.

Williams is way down the list. He won't get a committable offer.

Mingo is a take, and then if Bostic or Jarvis Jones want to come we ask one of our other committed LB's to look around. I feel like there's a 50% chance we land one of them.

I have my doubts about McFarland. We sure do seem to be exploring alot of other DL options...

Agreed. If Bama has a melt down it would help us tremendously. Otherwise I expect him to stick with them.

    You mean CB, correct?

I don't believe he has a committable offer.

Very enjoyable list to read Isl. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I read a list with so many top prospects considering LSU.

We have never approached the kind of attention we are getting this year. It's "the next level" as far as recruiting goes.

It sure is fun to follow.
