I wasn't going to post on this for fear of starting rumors. Now that it has been posted I will say this. Some of his close kin told me (the later part of Dec) that he is pretty interested in MSU. This person is elderly and might be mistaken whether it is MSU or UM, I don't know. Marcus probably does not even know me even when he sees me, and has never discussed anything with me, so don't think I am telling the real deal. BTW

Last Tues. night, FCHS played North Pike HS in bb.

    from the ap:

FCHS brute force to defeat NPHS 59-45. FC boys were lead by 18 points from 6-foot 4, 250 pound senior Marcus Tillman. Tillman's younger brother, (soph, I think) Bo Tillman 6'7"had 12 pts and pulled down 12 rebounds as FC pounded NP on the offensive and defensive boards.

Bo also is a defensive end. FCHS had a Tillman on both de positions this year. Bo AIN'T fat.

It looks as though there's a new article on one of the GA lb's staying put at LSU. I can't read the article, but perhaps someone could shed some light on whether it looks like he's definitely gonna be a Tiger.

One of the GA LB's, Sheppard, said he took his final two visits and isn't taking any more. Said his final visits (Tenn. and VT I believe) showed him that he's still comfortable with LSU.

said he signed autographs at the Peach Bowl, etc.... I think, at the least, Sheppard will be a Tiger.

Tillman would be a HUGE loss, IMO because the other DE we were recruiting, Levingston, has bulked up and is more likely going to be a DT now. Tillman stands as our lone blue-chip DE prospect.
