Congrats to Coach Porter. I think that he summed up the overall recruting wars best with his comment about "be honest" and, therefore, he fits right in with what I believe is the prevailing thought at LSU. From what I have read, it appears that the AD was trying to keep CLM from responding to the Randle/Benton issue and, after a short hesitation, CLM followed the "be honest" philosophy, even knowing it would be blown up. While I have some question about how it was handled, I think CLM did what was in the best interest of the team, as a whole. I can't wait for the season to begin!
The boyfriend of Ms. Miles hairdresser who has a cousin I ran into at Pizza Hut said that Coach Les Miles is not going to hire a recruiting coordinator because he gets his info from lurking around Tigerforums.com and is going to save a bundle of $$$$'s on salary next year.
