It wasn't his weight that beat Oregon...

I love this quote from the article.

"And, to top it off, fall camp practices end with an up-tempo drill. After nearly two hours of practicing in near 100-degree heat, LSU runs a scout-team version of the Oregon offense with the defense trying to respond."

Oregon's entire practice is an uptempo drill! Every Oregon player you talk to, will tell you that the games are easier and slower than the pace at practice. I've watched a few practices this year, and they seriously go all out for 1.5 to 2 hours. They don't do extra conditioning, because they get their conditioning during practice.

We can't do our entire practices uptempo. Miles' cognitive processes are slower than most and he'd get lost. May even eat some artificial grass amidst his confusion. He prefers the slow and grind.

I've seen him do shyt like call a TO after we intercepted.

You know, I was watching an interview of Miles, and he reminded me (speaking wise) of George W Bush. Is it just me?

Oregon's practices are unique. Usually only 1.5 hours at 7-8 in the morning. 9/10 times they'll practice indoors, even if it's a nice day. They don't practice on Thursday (walk through), then practice on Friday (ramp back up for game day). Odd, but it's worked for them so far. Everyone here's drank the Kool-aid! :)

Compared to Miles, Bush is like Bill O. :D

It's definitely not his forte'. He goes bonkers when someone puts a cam in his face. He is sincere though, and passionate. He also has never lost to the PAC and doesn't lose OOC games- ONE in 6 years.

No, it was the fact that in all his wisdom, your coach decided it would be a good idea to intentionally not block him, but to run away from his side. What he failed to realize is 'his side' is in the backfield about a nano second after the ball is handed off to the poor RB. This results in a sub 40 yd rushing game from LMJ.

I think Miles is a great coach, but he does need room to think from what I've seen over the years. :)

I agree the game plan stunk regarding that. I was yelling and throwing popcorn and all kind of crap at the game.. We were so pissed. We kept yelling either "Throw the Ball!" or "Run Outside!!"

Chip Kelly admitted he should have gone away from running the read option a lot earlier than they did.

No doubt the facts support this. Good for us he's had 8 months of room to think about this game.
