    They don't get much bigger. I was shocked to see we got jumped and remained No. 3 after Stanford loss, but the USC game will settle everything. They are extremely tough, but I feel like we have a legitimate shot to beat them.

    True, but you're talking about a seasoned team that is used to playing in big games and it showed. LSU will get there, but it's just going to take time. Very few teams, regardless of sport, can just step onto the big stage and win. There is a huge amount of pressure and mental preparation that teams have to learn to handle, regardless of how talented they are, to begin consistently winning big games.
