Wrong gump. It's a sport...it is a shitty sport, like girls basketball. It sucks and no one really cares about it. Hell Chester Molester is the only one here that can name anyone on the softball team. That tells the story.
Softball team did very well a couple of years ago and had a following. I think if you tone down the testosterone you might appreciate things more. ETA: Girl team sports are more of a team sport rather that guys who jockey to be the better player on the team. How many times have we seen this star player or that star player try to out play everyone instead of playing as a team
The wnba is just killing it. You ever look at the stands and see who is watching? I've seen more people in a 7-11
I don't know anybody who hangs on LSU track championships. And all of the events have a clear and understandable winner. Whoever runs the fastest, jumps the farthest or highest or throws something the longest distance wins.
Every LSU fan who gets into the discussions about championships and refers to the number in the 40's. See red for one and there's a few others.
A great example of that is women's basketball. I posted something very similar to what you're saying a few days ago. "There is no comparison between the athletes we see on the men's side versus that of the women. There are only a few elite athletes in women's collegiate ball (which is a large part of the reason we don't see a lot of parity.) On the other hand, there's no comparison with the fundamentals we see from the women versus that of the men. The men have a clear advantage when it comes to athleticism, the women are leagues above the men when it comes to coaching and understanding the nuances of the game. Some of the spacing and moves I saw last night were as impressive as any I've seen." Some fans want "showtime." Then, there are a group of fans that like the purity of the game itself.
Reading comprehension is your friend--estranged friend, but still. That's been shut down. Too much competition from your NAMBLA sites.
