Maybe you and a few others don't. You're quick to mis-characterize it as a non-sport, no doubt. In terms of fandom LSU is behind a couple of SEC programs and that 's with more home games than the majority of the other schools. My gut tells me if LSU won on the national stage you'd find a lot more fans than what you see. They certainly hang on to the track championships like it's a calling card and there's an argument for some of those events being a non-sport over any other. And, to be clear, I'm not calling track and field a non-sport. I will point out who doesn't know how to run?
