I agree. Media and voters out side the SEC will deny a rematch if ACC Champion Virginia Tech is sitting with only one loss. Alabama still has to beat Auburn "impressively" and the way they have been playing last few weeks has not exactly been very impressive If Va Tech rolls Clemson, we see Va Tech But remember, OK ST will not fall out of top 5, and the Computers LOVE OKST, so with a big win against OU and Big 12 Championship Title, they could still back door their way in there. Poor UH
It will be interesting to see how much of the computer love is lost due to that Iowa State loss. And don't forget, no matter how much choking occurs, someone will win Bedlam, and the Cowboys might just end up in the Cotton Bowl. And to those above, remember the BCS is 2/3 human polls. Many voters will buy into the following lines: VT avenging an early season loss to a highly ranked Clemson on the road is the next best thing to them going undefeated. Bama should not be rewarded for losing at home and sitting around resting when VT is playing in the ACCCG.
Oh, but it just isn't "fair" that Clemson should have to play VT again for the championship! VT had their shot and lost in the regular season. The title should just be handed to Clemson now. BTW, just substitute LSU for Clemson, and Bama (or Gumps) for VT above and you would have duplicated 90% of the posts on this board.
STFU Loser! That's a conference structure moron. At least Va Tech gets to "play" in their Conference Title game, while your loser tide will be sitting on their ass. You want to get kicked in the mouth again??? Really??? This time in OUR house bitch! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070221,-95.535175
I can understand Bama's arguement. An OT loss to the best team in the country is a very strong case. But I truly believe that the voters on the coasts are going to put a different team in. I am not giving you my subjective opinion of who I think is number 2. Bama nation better prepare themselves for the worst case scenario, which is not being invited to the big dance. If you need some help overcoming this depressing event, I am sure your in state brethren will gladly offer their experienced advice. And my advice for you... keep on poking that TIGER with a stick, he won't bite! GEAUX TIGERS! Let them agrue about number two, we are NUMBER ONE!
