You heard it here first, no joke. They have one loss to a ranked Clemson team away. They will move up, maybe to 4 this week. Then they have an easy game vs VA and Arky goes down to LSU. They move up to 3. Then they win the ACCCG vs Clemson, avenging their only loss, and the east coast voters jump on them, and the west coast SEC haters join the bandwagon. My prediction, LSU 48 VaTech 7 GEAUX TIGERS It could happen. CORRECTION: They lost to Clemson at home.
You do make a great point about avenging the loss to Clemson. I did not even consider that. They need to beat a pretty good Virginia team next week first, on the road.

I see it as a potential as well. If LSU wins, it all comes down to who the voters want to have face us. It is becoming very hard to avoid Bama at this point. ESPN is going to hope that LSU loses to Arky this week, that's for sure. But even if that happens and Bama beats the Barn, then LSU, Bama and Arky would probably still be in the BCS top-3. :hihi:
If the above plays out I see it as a good possibility. Va Tech could leap Bama and Ark if they win the ACC.
What you are saying makes sense, but Virginia Tech is significantly behind Bama in the BCS. Clemson getting hammered last night didn't help their chances.
