Damn, CParso I hope you are wrong about Holiday, but I can certainly see the reasoning. I don't think he has a career in pro ball except as a return man and he may have a great career in track.
I agree with your opinion on who will start at WR. The first 3 are almost no brainers and Benton is the only 5 star incoming WR. He also has a little experience at Hargrove. The only thing I can add is that I really believe before he is through at LSU that LaFell will be something special. Once he concentrates on the ball and regains confidence his physical abilities are impressive. He is a big, smooth receiver who should be able to go inside and run away from LB's and still overpower smaller CB's. Next year will be his break out year.

yeah but he's never run once out of the tailback position....he was always on the field as some sort of receiver position....see my point?

    Huh?

    Is that a typo, DE?

Nope, similar to the DE that came out of Arkansas last year (who was also an athlete/WR). Anderson, I think.

Its not a typo. Some people are saying Peterson could move all the way up to a DE. There have been some players who have bulked up that much. I think S or LB is more realistic though, but you never know. A lot of people are questioning if he will in fact a be a part of this coming class. Hopefully he stays on board.

Holiday wants to run in the Olympics, which are next year & will cut into football substantially. He knows that his pro potential is much higher in track despite his love of football.

It's nothing definite or anything, but I don't expect him back next year.

I have no inside connections on this, just my opinion.

I see him as almost a wingback. Though I certainly understand the logic for calling him a WR.

I'm really surprised we are taking so many WRs this year, when next year we have a shot at Randle, JJ Suber, Pat Patterson, and Kenny Bell.

Oh, I forgot that the Olympics were next year. That could keep him out most or all of the year.

I based my guess on last year when he made the decision to practice during the Spring but if he would have gone to the Worlds he would have come back after the VT game.

Every year we have issues with getting our WRs qualified. That very well may be the case again this year (and next).
