    D. Bryd - SR

    B. LaFell - JR
    T. Holliday - JR
    J. Mitchell - JR
    C. Mitchell - JR
    R.J. Jackson - JR

    T. Toliver - SO
    R. Dixon - SO

    D. Benton - FR
    C. Tolliver - FR
    D. Peterson - FR
    J. Taylor - FR
    T. Molton - FR

Going into '09 season, we will have 12 players that could conceivably see the field at wideout. I doubt any of these would be converted to DB.

Not to be nitty, but could you really classify Holiday as a WR?

yeah, he doesn't really line up at RB.....he is usually in the slot and either catches some sort of screen pass type play or comes in motion and runs the ball coming across, or lines up as wideout in a double reverse play.

he definitely isn't a running back, so basically the plays he is in on takes up a wideout/slot receiver position on the field.

Wow, thats a lot of talent. Hopefully the potential comes to fruition with these kids. Most are young, but the talent is there. If Lafell plays like he did against Va Tech and the end of the season he could be a huge asset. He has it all, size and speed.

I think Byrd and Toliver will start. With Lafell getting a lot of PT as the third wide out. With Benton coming in as the fourth wide.

    D. Bryd - SR

    B. LaFell - JR

    T. Holliday - JR - I think he'll focus on track. I don't expect him on the team next year.
    J. Mitchell - JR - could focus on baseball.
    C. Mitchell - JR - has been mentioned as a strong candidate for DB.

    T. Toliver - SO
    R. Dixon - SO - probably will stay at WR, but won't see PT.

    D. Benton - FR
    D. Peterson - FR - could play safety or DE.
    J. Taylor - FR - could be a DB, but will start at WR.

In Bold is who I think will be the starting 4 next year.

Just curious, any inside info on this, or is just a personal prediction?
I ask because everything I have read makes it seem like he really loves football.

People use Paro's posts for links to substantiate.

He's not ALWAYS right but 99% of the time and his "Stuff" is solid. Just splaining cause, as you said, I know you're new here.

Welcome to the forum btw. :thumb:

If I had to guess, I would say Holliday will play football next year with a little more focus on track during the Spring and the start of the football season/ I do not think he will turn down the World Championship again if he makes it there(probably will).

What is new on Deangelo Peterson? I know he is a soft verbal and it was mentioned awhile back that LSU was not as stong of a lock as we used to be with him?
