LSU, West Virginia verbally agree to series?

According to the Charleston Daily Mail, ESPN has orchestrated a home-and-home series between LSU and West Virginia for 2010 and 2011.

Would definitely improve our OOS.

 

Morgantown's a nice town. Just got back from there.

 

Looks like ESPN is putting itself in the middle of some great matchups.

 

Not bad. Better then a McNeese St H&H all day but will WV have the luster they are clamoring too from last year? I have not been watching them but they are not lighting up the big east with two losses already and still PITT and S. Fl to geaux. I wonder how they are gonna look in 010 and 011? Got a reason to keep an I on them I guess. I am happy with the improvement on our OOC schedule and hope they can book it.

Thinking about making the trip to Washington for game 1 next year.

Regardless, this is a match-up with another BCS conference. We should ALWAYS have a home-and-home scheduled with at least one of those a year.

 

Props to ESPN for putting games like this together....

Honestly, wouldn't you me more excited with a Home-Home against Boston College or Clemson or Nebraska or K-State or Houston instead of North Texas or Appy State????

Come to think of it, a Home-Home series with U of Houston or Rice would make all the sense in the world. Think of what that would do for our recruiting in Texas!

H&H with the Cougars, meh but the H&H with Rice in the 80's was priceless. A home game for Rice with LSU earned LSU a home game on the road. The turn out would be 80/ 20 with cajuns everywhere. Stateline cops had a field day with the travel back and forth but that was just part of the game. They had that boudin with like the plastic edible casing...Took some getting used to.
