Antony is supposed to be visiting LSU this weekend. She's a excellent shot with great range who was unhappy at Vandy as they played her out of position. She would compliment LSU quite well as she would become eligible when Scholonda (the current 3pt. threat) graduated. LSU has several advantages working over TEch: her boyfriend is here, LSU right now is playing better ball than Tech, and she would still get to play in the SEC.

That's the word. Whitney Jones, Ms. Basketball out of West Monroe has verballed early to Baylor. Winning a National Championship yields its advantages.

Man, what a big signing for Baylor and a big loss for LSU. How can you NOT keep the best player in Louisiana IN Louisiana?
Another reason I'm not a big fan of the state of Texas nor of Kim Mulkey-Robertson.

Some one posted on the Rant that she is now officially a Tiger as of yesterday. No link was given though.

    Katie's a TIGERS!!
Good acquisition. Having her and Quianna as legitimate long range bombers will open up things inside for Syl, Kristen and the other post players. Good get. Now lets hope the point guards develop a bit during the off season.

Katie's high school stats off of Sibyl's website:

Katie Antony, 5'8 SG, Anacoco LA, Anacoco HS WBCA All-America HM, Nike All-America Camp (2001, 2002), Street & Smith All-America HM (2001, 2002), USA Youth Development Festival South Team, Orlando Sentinel All-South Team (2003), HM (2001, 2002), Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year (2003), First Team All-State, All-Region, All-District, and All-Parish, region, district, and parish MVP. MVP of All-State team (2001 and 2002). 24 ppg, 9rpg, 4 apg, 4.5 spg. BS no. 54. Signed with Vanderbilt.

If Antony can contribute half of that point total, she'll be a huge contributor and help offset the graduation of Seimone.
