So, to all the people that said "we have nothing to gain by playing wisconsin"...ya'll aren't going to this game, right? I should have no problem getting tickets.
I'd rather play them in their home stadium, although Lambeau is a desired destination of mine. And I'm sure their fans would rather visit death valley instead of Reliant.
I was in Milwaukee last week, I couldn't find a Dr. Pepper anywhere. But it was very nice outside. People are very nice too. I think LSU fans would have a great time up there, there is a pub every 3rd establishment.
Couldn't find one anywhere I went. Not even in vending machines. I did find a Mr. Pibb at the Milwaukee airport on my way out though.
Maybe they are just a Pepsi city. I'm sure all the breweries and beer will make up for it though. http://www.ameribev.org/blog/2009/04/a-ball-game-and-a-soda-pop/ Their ballpark sells Pepsi products
And I'm sure their fans would rather go to New Orleans instead of H-Town. It's all for ABC/ESPN and marketing for us to play in 'hallowed Lambeau Field', but again they made this match-up happen so I'm fine with it since I can't go. They have a pretty legit home-field advantage at Camp Randall though.
Dr. Pepper is an independent name that is distributed by Pepsi and Coke, depending on who wins the bidding war in the area.
