Alverez knows very well why schools are preferring neutral site games like this one. A home game pays a team roughly 2 million (average in the SEC) when these neutral site games are having payouts of 3 and 4 million. And that's just one reason...
BTW, has anyone followed the spread on this game? It opened at -6 at 5Dimes and has dropped to -4 over the first week. That makes me believe the public was leaning against LSU being able to cover more than they were leaning towards Wisconsin being able to win. Such a slow move over the first week.
