LSU vs Western Kentucky (hoops)

Ain't this the truth. As much as the "casual" basketball fan screams about these losses, the line between teams in college basketball these days is fine. Northwestern to my surprise (a little) beats Tulsa (a team that I've always found to be very dangerous) in a close one to move on to the Charleston Classic "finals" on Sunday. To think that could very well have been LSU in that spot.

Also, Miss St comes back from a loss early in the season to an unknown to knock off Texas A&M and Arizona in Madison Square garden. Alabama is in a tight one now with Wichita St. The SEC may be very underrated right now... If LSU can get itself playing right and make some noise in the SEC, this may be the year where SOS and early OOC success finds the SEC getting in 6, 7 or so teams into the dance.
