great game by the Tigers. One downfall were the dropped passes. Our running back stable is unreal. It's not even fair to have Spencer Ware come in the game either late in the 2nd, or in the 3rd and stop dropping around 7 yards a carry. Just unfair. Kenny Hilliard beating you up near the goal line, and Alfred Blue just shredding you between the 20's, and Michael Ford on the edge. 8 looked awesome tonight. I really liked what I saw with his quick decision making. Especially on the busted run play that was supposed to go right but the tailback went left, he instantly tucked it and ran, and also the quick recognition of the safety and corner both coming up to play right flanker, and hitting Kadron Boone for the TD. And how bout the O line stepping up tonight, especially Josh D. Welcome back. On defense, what a hell of a difference a week makes. Defensive line played alot better, linebackers solid again, and I really liked what I saw from Jalen Mills, Micah Eugene, and Jalen Collins. The Jalen's still had a few plays where they got beat, but they will only get better. If Tyrann Mathieu were out there, I think this D would be insane. We have what we didn't have a year ago, a pretty f'n awesome middle. The linebackers are head and shoulders better than they were a year ago. Special Teams, was nice to get Brad Wing back. Outside of the butter fingers by the WRs and the opening drive by UW last night was just about a good at it gets. The play calling was much better in this game. We actually went down the field with the passing attack. The RBs and OL were just mauling UW. The DL was getting pressure and the DBs covering well. Its clear the LBs are much better this year. Alexander and Jones are gonna be special players for the Purple and Gold.
