:geaux: Hopefully the staff was just letting JJ get his feet on the ground in the first half. I'm hoping we see Shep and a lot more of LaFell, Tolliver, etc. in the passing game. The first half was definitely a serious wake up call for the entire team and they will have to step it up in the second half. I'm believeing they will.:thumb: :LSU231:

I've got a really bad feeling about this Chavis defense.

I was looking forward to seeing a new defense, figuring last year was a fluke. I'm not so certain now. UW made 7 of 9 3rd down conversions. Too many holes in the defensive line.

Please get away from the negative. THis team is NEW. Noone would have known what they'd come at us with. I LIKE LES. I LIKE his past decisions. I have faith he'll do the right thing in the next half. He's rarely disappointed me. Lets watch the game and get away from the negative. I'm an LSU and LES MILEs fan, I'm ready for some football. ANd by the way,,,,,we're winning.

UW outplayed LSU by a mile in that half. No doubt.

Two concerns so far - big plays given up by LSU defense, and offensive line.

LSU will play a lot tougher defenses in the SEC. Hard to believe the Washington DL has a better pass rush than LSU.

Adjustments at halftime and an azz kickin' opening drive could bring this game back to where most of us think it should be.

    Or.

LSU is in for another tough year in the SEC.

    We're about to find out.

There is no excuse for Washington gaining nearly 300 yards of freakin offense! I think its the players, because Chavis has a proven track record. Its also pathetic for the O to only have 160+ yards of O. Of course who doesnt know a run up the middle is coming.
