    Can someone explain to me how a player going downfield to make a tackle is considered a defenseless player? Should McMath just let him go by and make tackle?

    Head to head, that’s the rule. Goes for our players too. Nothing wrong with him lowering his body. He chose not to. Safety IS an issue.
