just to update:

this team is now tied with 2009 for most HR through 1st 17 games in the Paul Mainieri era.
only other seasons with over 20 are all pre-BBCOR bats. Give this team the ‘09 bats and god only knows what numbers they could produce.

and yea I’ve swung both pre-BBCOR and this crap. There is a huge difference. Hell i’m old enough that i used those old Black Magic Eastons from mid-90s that smashed everything.

but if we don’t figure out the bullpen, the best lineup we’ve had in god knows how long will go to waste.
