    LATEST AND GREATEST from Tellshow.

Read 'em and SMILE, LSU faithful!

Dec 6: Breaking the computers. I've put my odds that USC is ranked #2 in parentheses. USC will need to be ranked #2 in one or two computers to hold off LSU. They need one computer #2 if UGA finishes 11th and 2 if UGA finishes 10th.
NYTimes: USC has its biggest lead over LSU (50%)
Billingsley: I have USC 0.7 points behind LSU in my model. This is a close margin in this poll I could be wrong.(20%)
Wolfe: Wolfe has stated that he believes LSU will be #2 with a win. (10%)
    Anderson: LSU Already leads (2%)
    Massey: LSU already leads (3%)
Colley: LSU will be #2 with the Syracuse win (1%).
    Sagarin: LSU already leads (1%)

Dec 6: I've update the scenarios. I think it will basically come down to the ND Syracuse game. I have read that Wolfe stated that LSU will probably #2 in his rankings with a win. The NYTimes ranking will be close between USC and LSU. LSU should have all others if Syracuse wins.

I did forget that if LSU wins all 7 computer polls, then the Boise State game does not matter as well. Bu then you are counting on the NYTimes poll, which I think a 60 percent chance for LSU is probably about right. So then we are counting on that to happen.

    So, here goes:

    1) Boise State wins and USC can suck it
    2) Boise State loses, then we wait to see if:
.....a) Georgia finishes 10th in the BCS OR
.....b) LSU wins all 7 computer polls OR
.....c) LSU wins 6 polls and USC finishes 4th in 2 polls

    That's it in a nutshell.

USC should take a lesson from Kentucky. USC: Ask the wildcats...you should NEVER celebrate early when LSU is involved!!!

Anyone know how an Oklahome loss affects LSU's chances?

Help us islstl, you're our only hope!

What's the fallout from the loss by Oklahoma? I recall a week ago that we didn't want OK to lose for some reason, but since they were blown out by 28 points, maybe they'll drop low enough (in the human polls) to help us? Does it still depend upon the Boise State-Hawaii game? Can I go to sleep yet? :)
