bhelm, I am almost certain LSU has to beat UConn to get a #1 seed. They pretty much determine the #1 seeds before the conference tourneys are decided, unless a potential #1 gets upset in the 1st round of said tourney. If LSU beats UConn, and they will, LSU should move to top 3 in the country, solidifying their #1 seed.
losing to UConn and beating Tennessee again in the SEC Tourny would get them one, too imo. Because you have to figure either UConn or Rutgers has to lose in the Big East Tourny Maryland or UNC has to lose in the ACC Tourny and LSU or Tennessee has to lose in the SEC Tourny, so I think the 3 left standing in those leagues and then the next highest ranked team in the final polls (probably Tennessee) are your No. 1 seeds.
Well I forgot about the fact that if LSU beats Tennessee twice, then they would have to put LSU as a #1 over Tennessee. And they want 1 Big East, 1 SEC and 1 ACC team and then throw in the next best team (as you said Clair). Nice job catching that.
