Right, but my point was his performance last night in relation to coaching. Don't remember if your were in the thread during the game, but the comments were along the lines of "How good would we be if this guy were our QB?" reply "Not very, Cam and Les would screw him up."...the implication being what he was doing was the result of coaching. I was just pointing out that he was making athletic plays, not plays he was coached to make. And I think the Manziel reference is spot on. He won a Heisman on making athletic plays that would make most QB coaches pull their hair out.

That is true that LSU has ran RBBC. I'm only asking because both RBs have similar numbers over the last couple years, and LF would have surpassed Henry, if the McNeese game would have been played. I'm not saying LF can't handle the workload, but he is carrying the same workload as Henry. Oh well, all is good, and looking forward to next year.

Looking forward to LSU's first pitch as well.

Reminded me a lot of Rohan and Reed, they were the masters at making something out of nothing. Do I think Miles and Cameron would screw that kid up, yes, but he still made some uncoachable plays. Plays you would think Harris would be able to make but he doesn't.

Saban runs them into the ground during games but once the season starts the team does very little heavy hitting during the week of practice. Miles does the opposite, lots of workouts and hitting during the week before a game. LSU players are fatigued by the 4th quarter. Miles said after the game the team hadn't had a real practice since Thursday and admitted that the team was a lot fresher than usual. Will he remember that next season? Who knows?

I would like to think that a QB that displays that type of playmaking ability and accuracy with throws on the run would be able to get some play calls tailored to his strengths, but history with our offense has shown me otherwise. They'd probably let him play like that just after a losing streak occurs starting in early November to you know who and would end (or stop b4 it ever began) the first time we had a negative play.

Glad to see you point that out. I watched the replay this morning and not a word was mentioned, but he looked way over the line to me, thought maybe any discussion had been edited for time.

Agree. However, I suggest perspective is good advice for both sides. Rose colored glasses and shit tinted lenses both skew reality.
