Just stating what I'm seeing. Nothing new or improved from the offense or offensive coaching staff. Defense looks much improved but still room for more improvement.
he's making a relative comparison based on the fact we're facing the absolute worst defense in college football like I said, we need to temper our excitement about what we're seeing tonight.....enjoy it for it's pure entertainment value but don't put any stock into what has transpired....other than we're going to ride LF into the ground next year come hell or high water unless Les Miles wants to get the complete fuck out of the way of this offense, Cam Cameron, Cam Newton, or even Sir Isaac Newton couldn't better this offensive balance I think we only threw it 22 times tonight to calm down the masses. It was a token gesture by Les.
They just pointed out what kind of teams have beat Alabama the last few years, NONE of them run the type offense LSU ran BEFORE tonight, if Miles "returns" to his "old self" next season, I'm not sure the season ends the same way for him. Hopefully the coaches see that a partial chuck and duck can work. In addition, I think it's fairly obviously why there are no defensive "coaches" on the field for TT tonight. (3 of them got fired after season) I wonder MaHomes would be doing if at LSU.........1 scholarship offer????
What did I expect? Exactly what I'm seeing. An offense with no identity, no direction and no coherent philosophy. No improvement in QB play or playcalling. What I didn't expect to see was such a better pass rush, rush defense and LB play.
