    Time to build for the future and find out if Nuss can be the man. The Daniels experiment needs to end.

    In addition to the various gaffes in execution, we sure had a lot of penalties.

    This is a reality check. Where we all should have known we were going to be.

    We also are having a lot of injuries.

    I expect the rest of the year will be ugly. We need to keep the faith and take the long view. Geaux Tigers.

    This ranks with two or three of the worst games I’ve seen played by LSU since Lea Mikes era.

    I’ve been having these thoughts as well. I think it needs to happen no later than when LSU strings together some losses. If Nuss is next year, need to start looking at him in earnest and shut down the Daniels experiment. In this league, you have to get the ball downfield. Apparently, Daniels cannot do that and has shown us that he has gone as far as he appears to be able to go. He also is very poor on defensive reads, progressions and patience. He can run and throw the short pass where he can see some of the field. SEC defenses will key on this and Daniels and the offense will not get far. I suspect one goal may be to Get to bowl eligibility. Ok. Fine. But when will coach K start to look to developing next year’s QB? This assumes of course that Daniels stays true to his previous comments that this is his final year. Even if he doesn’t, BK will be forced to look to the future very soon as our record craters.
