LSU vs Southern Official Game Thread

southern band has style, but sound like ass

 

My biggest concern is we are still struggling in the trenches on both sides of the ball. You win and lose in the trenches, and I just don't see either side dominating, even against Southern.

 

Agreed.. what impressed me was that they did the halftime score. They must be prepared to do any # combination.

 

I missed the game and saw a replay…. Nuss can stay on the bench as far as I am concerned. Defense has issues…

 

Mike Leach vs our defense… scary.

 

Yep worried about our run defense not our secondary. Will be good to have Ojulari and Gaye back. Our DC will earn his pay this weekend.

 

I didn't pay enough attention to see if we ran a lot of zone on Sat? Can anyone confirm. If we play zone against Leach I feel it will be a very long night.

 

I didn’t either, but I think we’re leaning heavy on zone. The middle of the field will probably be open season.

 

Re watched the Southern game. I now have a little more hope for Nuss. Not saying he will ever be our starter but he could possibly develop, possibly. It will take one hell of a coach to get him to stop trying to be a hero and coach that out of him. I would say a 40% chance he can change. Now if he does he got a laser beam arm and good mobility. Slim chance but a chance.
