Yeah this is turning into a good game. I really hope Indiana wins it. I tend to pull for the underdogs (except when LSU is playing).
The more national seeds drop out the more the road for LSU gets easier. I just hope we don't play down to competition when it matters the most. I'm thinking though, this LSU team is now more focused than ever after sweeping the Supers. Been reading their tweets amd they seem to be really excited to show their stuff in Eauxmaha.
Indiana is on the road to their first ever CWS after dropping Florida State 11-6... Louisville up on Vandy 2-0 top 4th.
These 16 teams are so even i don't think any of the national analysts are surprised who wins any of the Supers. 12 of the 16 were ranked top ten in the polls, all but South Carolina, Rice, K State, and Oklahoma. Other than our glorified mid-week game vs Vandy, we haven't played teams of this caliber other than Miss State, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma...who are ranked as good as Rice...and none.of those were ranked as high as UCLA, NCState or UNC
I agree that the remaining 16 are evenly matched and the final 8, will be even more so. But, just like we haven't played teams of that caliber (with the exception of those you mentioned), they haven't played any team the caliber of us.
