Yes, but at WV. The issue was, when was the last time they brought one back at home....answer being 1980.
Exactly miles won't deviate from this one and only gameplan, will be run the ball in i-formation and try to play defense,it will get ugly quickly.
I think LSU will get more creative with their offensive attack. We're starting to see passes to the fullback, screen passes, and even one to the tightened (Miles even alluded to plays we haven't seen yet in his press conference). I think they have more up their sleeve, and they know they have to be creative in order to have a chance at winning this game. Our defense is looking better, and I think we'll definitely need a pick or two to gain the advantage. I like us in this game at home.
This is real nice, it is also incorrect. Nothing against you JD but the truth is you want so badly for things to be more creative and all that jazz. It won't. Miles can allude to whatever the hell he wants to in a press conference. That is to give the reporters something to chew on and walk away elbowing each other in the ribs saying "Hey did you hear that, we have plays we haven't run yet" It isn't going to happen. Miles has a big O line with years of experience and a stable of big bowling ball backs. He whole heartedly believes he can win by running them right up close and tight behind said line and that is exactly what he is going to try to do.
He doesn't have the correct QB starting in order to be "more creative". The best you can hope for from Jennings is that he doesn't turn the ball over. That's his ceiling. Unless Ole Miss gets stupid and allows one on one coverage for #83, there won't be much for Jennings to do in the passing game. He's Linus and Dural is the blanket.
