2:30 on CBS. Thank GOD. I was worried it'd be a Raycom game, especially after losing this past weekend. We've been very lucky the last two seasons. Too bad we won't be a part of the Raycom going away party. :hihi: Although... CBS definitely hasn't been our good luck charm this year... http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?&ATCLID=1621841&DB_OEM_ID=5200
I want it to be a night game as much as everyone else, but as I said above, 2:30 is better than what the likely alternative would have been.
nobody's asking for a lack of success just the opportunity to play LSU games as they should be played... under the lights.
CBS offers that opportunity with 2 hours of commercial breaks. It really is crazy how TS transforms at night. This Satruday is the perfect example. As Tiger fans we should always vote for Daylight Savings.
I understand what you're saying and wanting but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I think that's how that old saying goes. :crystal::crystal: of these equate to being featured more prominently on CBS in the afternoon time slot. They have a new contract starting with the SEC next year and from what I remember reading the number of prime time games either won't increase or at best it might increase from one to two. CBS isn't going to give up their prime time programming to air more SEC games and compete against ABC and ESPN.
Great! Kickoff... TV timeout Incomplete pass... TV timeout Run for five yards... TV timeout Sack... TV timeout Punt... TV timeout I'm not asking for every game to be at night but every damn at 2:30 royally sucks! It's bad enough that it screws up tailgating and the night game atmosphere but CBS can't take a commercial break without taking a commercial break during the middle of a commercial break that only gets interrupted by a commercial break! The player of the game last weekend was the little guy with the red hat. He saw more playing time than all the starters combined.
