LSU's fielding is pretty solid. Hughes is a Defensive + anywhere he goes and has been impressive. Beloso at 1st has been very steady. The only suspect position is Catcher... Mathis is pretty darn good, but I am interested to see what Garza can do behind the plate as Mathis' arm does not seem to be the strongest or the most accurate.
Hitting wise... I do not see a ton of improvement in the bats. Hal Hughes and Spuds Reid have improved, but not so much elsewhere. The rookies... what is the appropriate expectation? I don't know.
