We don't have a good running game.

Not yet but it's coming. Goodwin is my favorite RB and I see signs that Emery could explode anytime. Once the OL settles with the same starters game after game we will have a good running game.

I agree. Our OL needs to keep improving each game and I think the running game will begin to take shape. Considering we're starting two true freshman at tackles is unheard of in college football today, but they're doing a decent job. With continued hard work and more time to gel, this line could become a pretty nasty bunch before it's all said and done. I'm actually excited about the OL for the first time in a long, long time!

We won't set any records rushing with what we have now although either Godwin or Emery could have some great days. Help is on the way next year. Trey Holly just set the all time high school rushing record and Caleb Jackson reminds me of Cecil Collins.

I actually like that were moving guys in and out of the lineup. It does a few things:
    • It gives a lot of OL personnel extremely valuable game experience that will pay dividends down the road.
    • These guys are learning multiple positions and will be able to step in if we get injuries at multiple positions.
    • It makes them HUNGRY if there is a slight cloud of uncertainty hanging over their head.
    • Being able to sub guys in and out during the weight of our schedule keeps "fresh legs" in the game.
